This is the original Bearing temperature module with LCD readout (HB8-1). It now comes with an internal light for better viewing at night. This unit will read temperatures from 0 F to about 525F and a red LED will blink when the temperature of the bearings are greater or equal to 200F. To date, users of this monitor have reported bearing temperatures (at 60mph and 90F ambient) ranging from 120 to 165 F. In every case the temperature would stabilize after about 5 min. of sustained driving. The reason for the large range can be contributed to such things as bearing tightness, grease and brake adjustment. After a stable temperature has been reached it should be repeatable, with consideration for outside temperature.
Cost for this unit is $ 149 + shipping. ( Click on the thumbnail for the enlarged picture ).

This is also a Bearing temperature module (HB10-1), however instead of an LCD readout it has two rows of 8 LED lights, one row for each front bearing. It will light LED’s ranging from <100F to 275F with a blinking LED at the 200F reading. This unit uses the same temp. sensors as the above (HB8-1) unit.
Cost for this unit is $ 159 + shipping.

This is also a Bearing temperature module (HB10-2), similar to above HB10-1. It will light LED’s ranging from <100F to 275F with a blinking LED at the 200F reading. This unit uses different sensors as the above units and is contained in a standard 2” dia. auto-gage housing for use as a stand-alone or in-dash mounting.
Cost for this unit is $ 169 + shipping.
