My new two-wheeled Spare

DSCN1299.JPG
I elected to not replace my Toad after it got smushed in a non-GMC related incident. To save a little weight and considering that I've never used the spare tire I removed it again. In case you're going "oh no" re the spare removal, I used spare air in a can once and other times I called emergency road service.

50cc Yamaha, takes two. Top speed is about 45mph with one, Haven't tried it yet with two. In the US the model is referred to as the Zuma. Hopefully groceries and refresments will be it's only cargo.

The Bike Rack is heavy, but managable by myself. I usually remove it when home for a while so that I gain a little garage space for the garden tractor, etc.

The rack slides into the normal hitch receptacle.

Spring loaded pin holds the ramp in it's travel position. I use a strap through the front wheel and around the ramp as backup.

Four straps hold it in place and a lock through the rear wheel will hopefully discourage unauthorized usage.
